“This hotel has a very nice view and is a great choice for shooting or watching the stars. Their service staff is very friendly and will assist you very well with things to do at the top of the mountain to fix inconveniences. The rooms are slightly smaller than similarly priced hotels, but I think the starry sky at night definitely makes up for it, and the balcony on the side of the house offers a great starry sky experience. “This was a lovely hotel with a very fun Family Suite. Our children loved the "Fort Holiday" set up that included bunkbeds, a tv, and a PS3. The food was great and the beds were comfortable.”

“It had a large living room. The owner allowed us to bring family to the house to play games and visit. I appreciate the space for our visit. The house was clean and had good pans and dishes so we could provide for my uncles, aunts, and cousins that stopped by. I would recommend to make the stairs a little lower for older guests to enter easier.”

“Perfectly named - amazing sunset views, easy access to both Mesa Verde/Canyons of the Ancients and the San Juan mountains (Durango/Silverton), lots of amenities and extras, very comfortable beds, over-the-top coffee bar, grill, firepit, hot tub, plenty of room even for our group of 5, amazing view of stars from deck (and even binoculars and star gazing books to enhance the experience!). We highly recommend this place for anyone looking in the area. The owner was very responsive and……

“Long time traveler here, this is the BEST place to stay if you are in Mancos area or visiting Mesa verde NP. The home is so clean and the hosts are the nicest people you will ever meet. Also, their breakfast is absolutely delicious and the conversations around the breakfast table were just as lovely! I would give them 15 out of 10 if I could. Highly recommended!”
