“The staff were nice and helpful. The room and hotel were clean. Housecleaning is advertised as being included, however it is by request only. Requests for what you want done in your room (i.e. trash can emptied, bed made, bathroom cleaned) must be checked and turned in before 8 am for the room to be serviced. The onsite restaurant looked nice but it is only open for lunch and dinner. The workout room was nice for the type of hotel. I would not return because I found the beds and pillows very……

“You could live with the tired property but the beds felt like there were springs coming out of them and the pillows and sheets were terrible. Needless to say both my husband and I had a horrible night sleep. The location is great. It’s an old hotel that needs renovating badly. I would stay there again if they got new beds and bedding”

“Was not told of two functions that happened when we stayed there. Live bands playing music all night on Thursday and an outside wedding with live music on Friday playing until 10:30pm. We were right above the wedding and had a view from our 3rd floor window. It was extremely loud and very uncomfortable from our room. They should have told us and arranged to offer a different room in the facility. I have more appointments coming up at the Mayo Clinic and will not be staying at the Kahler Grand……

“Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. That made all the difference for us since we were commuting to/from Mayo Clinic. The free breakfast was decent, but lacked variety, wearing thin during our 1 week stay. Trash was not emptied nearly often enough from the small bins near the elevators. Also the outlets seemed to be nonstandard. It was hard to get a standard hair dryer to stay plugged in due to this issue. Parking onsite was OK, buy maneuvering in the tight spaces was dicey at times. It……

“Very nice clean rooms. The staff is super nice and friendly. Breakfast wasn’t extravagant, but it had fresh fruit and pretty much just the right things you needed to get the day going in a healthy manner. Really happy with our stay here. It’s really close to the gamehaven bike trails for our race this weekend.”

“The mattress on the bed was well used. A dip in the middle. 😏 The shower/tub in the bathroom was slippery when using the shower. My husband almost fell. There was no closet. However, it was quiet and the staff was very gracious. We will stay there again.”
