“I had a brilliant stay at Katie’s Cottage. The owner was very kind to me before and during my stay and communicated with me very kindly. The cottage is in a great location, quiet and peaceful. The cottage is immaculately clean and very spacious. The bed was comfortable, heating instant and shower powerful. “Beautiful property. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was so cosy, clean & well looked after. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, they made us feel very at home and were very attentive throughout our time. Great location and a short 5 minute drive to Haworth. “A perfect place to stay after a long day's walk on the Nidderdale Way. The appartement was lovely and warm when we arrived and enjoyed a good hot shower in the shower room. The kitchen was small but everything we needed to make breakfast before starting the next leg of the walk, The bed was very comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Had a good meal and a couple of good pints in the Crown Inn which was only a 2 minute walk away.”

“This is not a luxury house. Cheap second hand uncomfortable furniture, a smelly oven that may not have been cleaned for years (if ever???) and crockery that we needed to wash before we used it. We are not fussy people, but clean and comfortable should be a bare minimum.... Worst of all though was a chirping smoke alarm on the first floor landing, indicating a dead battery. On closer inspection, there wasn't even a battery fitted!! I offered to replace it if the owner couldn't arrange it for……

“Second time staying here. Nice room with all the facilities you need. Bed a bit small. Getting in the property using the GOKI app they said to download didn’t work. Stuck outside for 15 mins trying to get it to work. All info requested entered but still said not checked in. In the end used the key code. All in all can’t fault it really, location right in the centre of Harrogate. I park in west park car park on tower road next to Travelodge as 24 hour parking for £9.00.”

“In peaceful Nidderdale - just what we needed for a quiet slow-paced break. The cottage was well-appointed and homely (which can't be said about a lot of self-catering places we've stayed). Simon was friendly and welcoming as were the ginger retrievers and the two inquisitive cats. :-)”
