“Very unique property, we loved it. With that being said, we went in with expectations appropriate to the stay. We were aware of no bathroom in the room and were okay with this. We didn't ever wait to use the restroom or shower. The property is in pretty good shape considering how long its been in operation. “The staff was excellent, the rooms were large and clean, and everything was in working order, which now a days, often isn't the case. The breakfast that was included was the best we have had on our whole 2 week vacation. You will not leave hungry. My only complaint is that there was only one luggage cart for the whole hotel and one older guy decided it was his personal cart and kept it in use for way longer than needed. I guess there should be more than one cart for a whole hotel. but other……

“This hotel is a gem of a place to stay. It is original in decor, clean, friendly and helpful. Our trip took us from Virginia to Vancouver Island and back and this hotel was possibly the best hotel we stayed in. It is an oasis. There are restaurants within walking distance, which is nice after a full day of driving. We cannot recommend it enough. It's 10 (out of ten!). The night we stayed, the hotel was sold out. We were so lucky to get a room.”
