The property is fully equipped from the spacious kitchen to the outdoor fire pit and a hot tub facing the ocean. With an acre of well maintained yard space- it's the perfect area for family games or opt to sit on the covered deck and read a book. Comfortable outdoor couches, propane fire table and an outdoor TV to enjoy sports with friends or movie nights with the kids! Come visit us and see what relaxation is all about!

Such a beautiful property. Near town, near the lake and hiking spots. We had a great time playing around in the yard, sitting on the deck, enjoying the hot tub. The cliff was a bit scary, but our kids did a great job of staying on the safe side of the fence. We love Orcas Island.

Dream wedding location
My husband and I found Chelsea’s property last year when we were looking for wedding locations on the water. We immediately fell in love when we saw the pictures online. Once we got in contact with Chelsea, she made the whole process so simple for us. We actually hadn’t seen the property until a couple of days before our wedding, but it did not disappoint. The house is very cute and perfect for two couples to stay in. The yard and view is just something else! We’ll be sure to come back here for anniversary trips in the future!

Great location and beautiful home!
We enjoyed our stay at John and Katie’s home immensely! The house is fantastic. Everything is new and clean. Beautifully decorated. The hot tub was lovely and the yard was so nice to play in! We loved coffee in the morning on the back deck and evenings playing games as a family. The one note I would make is the far extension of the property toward the sound is a very steep cliff down. Our kids are older and understood not to go beyond the fence, but I would have been a bit concerned if we had younger kids in our group. Very close to the market and East Sound village. Overall a perfect vacation! Thanks for sharing your home!

We have stayed on Orcas many times since the early 1990', John & Katie's place ranks at the top. Such a beautiful, serene setting. Spotless home with warm welcoming of fresh cut flowers & a bottle of wine. Beds very comfortable, beautiful decor. Our favorite was sitting on the back deck & taking in the gorgeous view, wildlife & the sweet resident cats. A very quiet & peaceful setting, great location. Excellent communication from host.

John and Katie’s place couldn’t be more conveniently located and is perfectly designed for vacation. The outdoor spaces are stunning - we sat on the comfy back porch and watched the eagles catch the updrafts in the mornings and the sunsets in the late evenings. We’ll be back!

We loved the view and the central location. House was clean and well appointed. Host's communications were very helpful. Overall, a great base to explore the island. Our only concern was keeping a close eye on our 3yo on the lawn so that she didn't get too close to the cliff over the beach.

The pictures don’t do this place justice! Beautiful home with a beautiful view. We loved cozying up on the porch to watch the morning fog and spectacular sunsets. A surprisingly well outfitted kitchen and comfortable beds. We can’t wait to come back. It was the right amount of space for four adults for a long weekend trip.

This is an outstanding property!! Great view of the Sound, House is new or like-new. Accessories are top quality. Everything one might need is there. Host was very helpful and accommodating. Even provided deer grazing in the front lawn each evening. Only negative part was communications restrictions imposed by vrbo.
