Desperately in need of refurbishment it appears that the new owners have not made any improvements since taking over from Campanile Hotels. “We didn't know where to pick up the keys at 1600hrs the bar was late opening, we was also waiting at the wrong Nook bar. Lack of information on where to wait. The bed was very comfortable, the sound of the river over the rocks, sent us to sleep. The bar was good, good selection of ales. Also we didn't have the breakfast, we thought it was expensive at £14 each. Location very hand for everything.”

“Very fast check in and check out - stayed for a wedding so didn't really spend a lot of time in the hotel, or use the facilities too much. Room was very clean and had plenty of space and storage, and was very quiet both of the nights we were there (and the hotel seemed busy). Good selection of hot drinks in the room. Lots of parking available, and a petrol station immediately opposite, with a Tesco express and a Greggs two minutes walk away.”
