“The pool was a very short walk from our unit who we appreciated! So was the laundry but you have to buy tokens when the office is open so we didn’t get to use it. The room was clean overall ”

“Our stay at The Captain and the Mermaid was great. Communication with Michael was the best I’ve ever had. He was prompt and very helpful each time. The condo had beautiful views from the windows. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. So nice to have beach towels and beach chairs. A pool right near us. If you don’t have a car you need to not mind hiking up and down to get to beach. Restaurants near condo were all great. ”

“Beautiful property bed was very hard. A mattress topper for those of us who don’t like firm beds might be a good idea. All in all enjoyed stay. ”

“A beautiful location with a nice view of the ocean to the north out the living room window. The process of getting into the house was straightforward, although be aware that the entrance was the second door (with the padlock). Also: The roosters say “good morning!””

Overall it was a great place to stay. We communicated directly with Chris! She was very helpful it getting us settled and giving info on beaches, eateries and sites to see. “Our stay here proved to be a much needed and easy getaway . The units private pool made the whole experience . As much as I can respect traveling families it can sometimes make a shared pool more play than peace . Having your own outdoor space to take a dip made sunbathing as easy as opening the sliding doors and heading out for sun and chillaxing. The location is perfectly tucked within walking distance of Sapphire Beach”

“It rained the day we arrived and when we got there, the whole kitchen and living room were flooded and the rug was soaked for the whole 7 day trip so the whole house stunk of mildew the entire trip. We woke up sick every morning from breathing in the nasty air all night. I dont know if someone left the front door open allowing the rain water to come in during the storm but we would’ve enjoyed our trip better if we didn’t get sick every time we were in the house. There is also no laundry soap or……
