“Wonderful place and even better hosts. Our AC went out and they put us up in another place for one night and had an entire brand new unit in one day. Also she cooked us wonderful conch fritters and the best carrot cake ever. If you want an off the beaten path true Bahamian experience this is a must do! So safe the people are wonderful. Don’t forget to visit Lorraine’s mom. For the most insane coconut bread ever and Lorraine’s cafe for amazing food. Rent a boat for the day and explore all the……

“We made our choice to come here after reading their amazing reviews. We were blown away and will certainly be coming back. Ida and her so Terren are amazing and make the entire process extremely easy. We flew from Fort Lauderdale vía Makers Air which have a ton of flights into Staniel Cay. Once you arrive at Staniel Cay , Terren will be waiting for you practically on the tarmac and it’s a really short 10 min boat ride to black point . The house is extremely clean and accommodating. “We had an amazing time at Black Point staying in Seaweed Cottage. Ida was very responsive to my questions and arranged a golf cart rental and boat tour for us. She picked us up from the airport, gave us a quick tour of the island pointing out restaurants and markets, and stopped at a market before taking us to her cottage. The golf cart was waiting for us when we arrived which allowed us to explore the island as soon as we got settled in. The cottage is as described- Very clean, comfortable,……

“Everything about our stay with Ida in the Starfish cottage was magical and perfect. Simple, adorable accommodations in a gorgeous location overlooking the bay and marina on Black Point Cay. It’s definitely out of the way (unless you have your own boat or plane), but getting there is part of the adventure.
