An ideal base for a couples' getaway, the town's independent shops, eateries, and beautiful waterfront are within a 100 yards from the front door.
This cottage has a charming and quirky layout and is spread over several levels. Upstairs there's a bright and airy living room with a sofa, TV, electric fire and space for dining. Windows overlook Fore Street and offer a bird's eye view over the activity below, while a mezzanine level with seating and a skylight, provides extra space as a snug for reading and relaxation. The main bedroom is spacious and has a king-sized bed, while the kitchen on the lower level is modern and fully equipped, with a lovely breakfast bar and seating. Also on the lower level but accessed separately, there's a modern bathroom with a full-size bath and overhead shower.
The cottage backs on to Fore Street but has its entrance on the opposite side of the building up a quiet, narrow pedestrianised lane called Union Place. Guests have the use of two chairs which are stored inside, so they can enjoy drinks in the late afternoon sunshine.
Shops like Ruby's Ice Cream, Pebble & Salt lifestyle boutique, Brown Sugar Cafe, The Cornish Bakery and Seasalt Clothing are just around the corner, while Fowey's picturesque quay is less than a minute's walk away.
