Beautiful views from this direct water/lakefront home on Fox Lake. This house sits high up on the lake with unmatched views of the Chain O'Lakes. Access on the property to water and boat pier. Large double deck directly on the property and lake. Boating, swimming, beach, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and more. Newly remodeled. Large screened in porch and newly paved driveway. White kitchen with stainless steel appliances. 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch in the downstairs living area. 1 1/2 bathrooms. Upstairs and downstairs TV's with wi-fi. 2 fireplaces in both levels. Large built in bar with games and dart board. Washer/dryer. Large deck overlooking Fox Lake with furniture and grill. Downstairs patio overlooking Fox Lake. Large double tiered deck located lakeside. Close to downtown Fox Lake, trains, restaurants, and shopping and more. Nearby beaches, marinas, Blarney's Island, Volo Auto Museum, roller skating , movie theater, horseback riding, farmers market, pumpkin patches, apple picking, walking trails, nearby parks and nature areas, and more. Winter time adds snowmobiling, tubing, and skiing at nearby Wilmont Mountain Ski Resort. Lake Geneva is a 30 minute drive. Rent a boat or bring your own. Launch is closeby. Tie up to our 40 ft. private pier on the property.
The house also has outdoor security cameras at the front door as well as back lower door and back outdoor walkway to provide added protection as well as to check for arrivals and departures for housekeeping and maintenance services. While these cameras do add "security" please note that they are only outdoors and NOT monitored. We are pet friendly with an additional daily charge.

Winter weekend getaway

Had a great time here with my wife and dog. Very close to town and a great view of the lake. Home was cosy, hosts were responsive, and having a warm fire was a perfect touch.

My family and I enjoyed our short stay in Cora Cottage. The view from the porches is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and there are a couple of nice dinner spots in walking distance. We would definitely stay there again when the occasion arises.

Wonderful lakehouse

I needed a place to stay for work. Thus lake house was well done! Cute, cozy and great views. The hosts were excellent and responded when needed. I will definitely be staying again when Im in the area!

Spotlessly clean. Great view of the lake and all of the ice fishermen. Perfect spot for the two of us. We will book again next time we are in town if available.

Good time by the lake

We had fun in the cozy lake cottage. The view was beautiful, everything was in great condition, and it was a great location for lots of fun— like a day trip to Six Flags.

Great spot on the lake if you have a boat! If you are not aware you have to purchase a pass to take a boat out on the lakes.

Living our best life on the lake...

Our dream is to one day own a home near a lake. We got a taste of it and definitely would like more of it. Cora Cottage on Fox Lake is just magical and magnificent. The moment we stepped in, we were mesmerized by the view and sounds of the water. In the house itself, you'll find yourself saying that it feels like home; clean, beautiful, and wonderful.

Place was clean and super cute with beautiful view. Right on the water so we took advantage of the dock and brought our inflatable paddle board and kayak and had a great time. Renting jet skis is close by as well! One note: for anyone that has trouble with stairs, there is a skinny spiral staircase to reach the lower level.

Perfect stay

Everything was great from the moment we booked the house. Had great communication with the owner house was beautiful and very clean. There was a beautiful view of the lake. There was plenty of room for the family couldn’t have asked for more. She even had snacks for the dog and the kids turned out great but highly recommend again and for friends and family. We would definitely rent this house again, hands-down.

Normally a great location, but currently too noisy

The house was quite nice, and the view was perfect. However, I was unaware that the neighboring lot was an *active* construction site. The first day was pretty manageable, with constant nail guns in the background and the intermittent buzz of chop saws. Occasionally, sawdust would float down on us while we were chatting on the patio. The second morning, they brought in heavy machinery to excavate a well, which significantly increased noise. The final morning, I was awoken by the sound of a Bobcat-mounted jackhammer being used just outside.I imagine under normal circumstances, it would be *perfect*, but I can't really recommend it until the construction ends. Side note, the second bedroom could *really* use a small table or something. There is nowhere to sit a phone or glasses when going to sleep.
