"What a beautiful area - driving thru’ the lovely little towns and villages on minor roads was the best – rolling hills, autumnal colours, a real delight. The bigger towns/cities are well worth a visit – Bamberg, Wurzburg, Rothenberg, Nurnberg, usw. The area is at least as good as the Black Forest - shame that so few of us Brits have “discovered” Franconia. The flat is one of the best and the most reasonable we’ve stayed in – well equipped, very clean, home from home, (wie zu Hause) a real joy to...
