"Hotel is ok. The room was not clean very good. Bathroom mirror was all streaky. The counter had water stains all over. The side table also not wipe down. Breakfast included good thing. Would not of paid for it. No pool. No elevator."

The location is very central, though Gravenhurst isn’t big, this hotel is in a convenient spot with plenty of quick dining options nearby like A&W, Subway, Domino’s Pizza and Popeyes. There’s also a Sobeys and Dollarama right next door, very convenient indeed. Parking is free, plenty of spots and is shared with the shopping plaza around. The property itself is clean and well-maintained. Staff were very friendly, check-in was quick and smooth. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, though the pillows were a bit too soft for my liking. The bathroom was clean as well; water pressure in the shower could be better, but it still got the job done. There’s a small gym and pool on the ground floor (didn’t get a chance to use them). The complimentary continental breakfast covers all the basics like waffles, cereal, coffee, breads, pastries, eggs and bacon. Nothing extraordinary, but decent. A special shoutout to Michelle, the breakfast room attendant, she was fantastic. Very friendly, attentive and really made the overall experience great. I highly recommend this location."

"Great hotel, very clean and spacious hotel. Lindsay at the front desk was great with us for check-in, and helped me sign up to be a Marriott member. Pool was quiet and nice, breakfast was good for variety of options. The room was so spacious and comfortable, will be coming back again !"

"The cottage was quite nice and in a good location. We enjoyed the stay overall. When we first arrived, the cottage was very cold. Once we figured out how to heat the place, it was quite cozy. For the owners, I recommend turning the heat up before someone is coming, or leave an instruction book detailing how to use the pellet stove to keep the cottage at a good temperature (including overnight instructions would be helpful too). There are a few baseboard heaters, but the stove is absolutely required to heat the whole place.A couple of things surprised me - in order to get to the hot tub, we had to walk all the way around the house to get to it. It was very cold and snowy - so this wasn't ideal. The hot tub also had a lot of dirt on the cover, which didn't give us confidence regarding the cleanliness of the hot tub underneath. There also wasn't a lot of privacy, and there were quite a few cameras on the property (which is fine for entrances etc., but maybe not having one pointed in the direction of the hot tub?). Also, the listing stated that the kitchen was fully equipped - however, if you only have access to the main part of the house, there is no oven. We had planned to make homemade pizza and were quite disappointed when we had to go get take-out. Overall - the place is great, and I think it would be fantastic to stay in the summer! Just a little more transparency on the listing an instruction booklet for managing heating and the hot tub"
