"The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. "Our room was lovely and spacious. The furniture is dated but it is tidy. Lovely comfy sofa and plenty of room for the travel cot. Excellent value for money for the room. We did pay extra for the breakfast but it does need improvement"

"Absolutely fine. Close to centre and walking distance from Home Park. A bit faded decor and no air con in the room but fans provided. Decent breakfast. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as on the day of my arrival the doors to the underground car park had broken and I had to route via Sainsbury's car park risking a fine but thankfully the hotel staff managed to override the parking database and it appeared to have worked. Generally all was good and I would recommend and use again."

"The hotel has beautiful interiors and fabulous views. We had a room with a balcony and seaview which was large and comfortable with a large bathroom. The breakfast was very good with excellent variety and the best vegetarian selection I've come across. Served in a restaurant overlooking the sea, we felt like we were on a cruise ship. Sadly the afternoon evening service in the bar area was very poor; we waited over an hour for food. The outdoor pool is no longer used so needs to be replaced or removed. Once beautiful gardens need bringing back to life. The indoor pool and spa also need refreshing. This beautiful hotel could be so much better if more was made of the restaurant and bar, bringing in more income for renovations."

"The location was very good. Easy walk to Barbican. The park was right up the street. The room could have been cleaner. The air vents were full of dust. When we brought this to the staffs attention they immediately cleaned it. The carpet could have used a good cleaning. The restaurant was lovely. The view was spectacular and the food was very good.
