Derelict church hall, Shirland This church hall was last used by youth groups but now stands derelict. Most community activities are now run from a newer village hall. Beyond the church hall, Shirland House can be seen. This house stands at the junction with Town End and Main Road (A61).

Staff were lovely, helpful, polite and courteous throughout my stay. Had a lovely suite (401) which was right near the spa. Hotel was nice and welcome was good. I was rudely awaken at 5am in my room from the sound of deliveries and recycling glass bottles which is awful considering the reason we use hotels is to sleep. It has completely ruined my day with work due to tiredness I am now facing. Not one at all
