"The desk staff was somewhat rude. Part of the property was in much need of repair, the wing of the motel we stayed in had some upgrades made and were fairly clean. We had a good view of the lake and it was quiet."

"This is the best cabin we rented. It had old charm rustic and was right on the water, with lots of activities available (walks, biking, swimming, kayaking). We loved exploring the island and bays. Had nice grilled dinner and marshmallows on the fire. We highly recommend this resort!"

"Well, the Bavarian Inn is neither Bavarian nor an Inn — it is a very basic motel. The location is nice, on the water. The room was clean and comfortable, although it and the property show their age. Two floors, no elevator. The rooms all have exterior entry; during our July visit moths and mayflies ..."
