“This multi-level house/cabin works well for family and friends to gather on the island. Lots of room inside and outside for potluck dinners and game nights. The basement 2br apartment was especially nice for our son's family with a toddler. The kitchen is well equipped and has excellent appliances. Claire was a great host and responded immediately to all questions. There is excellent storage and lots of refrigerator and freezer space for your island stay, ”

“Second time staying there! Very convenient for us and the house is fabulous!”

“Great place with a beauty view of the lake. Enjoyed the song of the loons with morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Plenty of space with many beds and bedrooms. 3.5 baths that are big and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed with pretty much every utensils. The screened in porch was a great for a family dinner or a fun game with the kids.”

“The house was very nice, had lots of ammenities. The grandkids enjoyed playing in the water at the dock, and catching little fish. Larger fish were available in the bay, but it's August so they were deeper. We'd stay again.”

“We stayed here for our annual “Up North” reunion with kids and grand-kids. Easy check-in, great communication and beautiful backyard property. Kids enjoyed the kayaks and the fishing off the pier. Close to town and quiet neighborhood. ”

“we had a really lovely time on Madeline Island. The house was just what we needed - modest, but with all the necessary amenities to cook a meal, relax and enjoy the water. The access across the road was easy and convenient. The kayaks were awesome! We had an early snag where the property had not been fully cleaned from the previous guests but Alan was on it immediately and offered compensation for the hassle which was much appreciated! Highly recommend!”

“Overall impressions in these categories: House: Beautiful. Big enough for our group of 13, kids and adults. Kitchen is more than great. Screened porch is better than good. Dining area large enough we could all eat in the same area. Rec room including table tennis was used a lot.Water: Fishing was slow but that's no one's fault. Kayaks were used a lot everyday. The shallow sandy bottom was amazing for our kids to play and swim in. The dock held our two boats easily. Stairs to water are not...
