"Nice and clean, no issues, staff are very helpful"

"We arrived Monday for three night stay. The Superior Room with Sea View was exactly as shown, light with balcony overlooking the sea. Well worth the money spent. Breakfast was spot on with lots of choice. Mary who looked after the rooms was very engaging, friendly and kind. She also helped rescue a seagull fledgling stuck on the balcony. Very good service in large bar/eating area. Thank you very much, looking forward to returning for another stay."

"We received the warmest of welcomes from Jim, the proprietor. He was so lovely, funny and kind. Although the Shenandoah is a period house, it is right up to date, the decor and furniture looked new. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, there was probably something to suit everyone. I’m a bit of a Nespresso addict and usually take a machine with me when I travel, I didn’t this trip but was delighted when I found a Nespresso machine in the breakfast room. The Shenandoah has rooms to suit most. It even has glamping pods if you fancy something a bit different. There is off street parking. Thanks, Jim, it’s obvious that you’d go the extra mile for your guests! "
