“It is located right in downtown and very convenient if you want to use local transport. We took the room with the kitchen which was really helpful as we could make our own coffee and breakfast. There is noise from downstairs bar on Saturdays but we were on the 3rd floor so could not hear much. The property itself is old but kept clean. Check in was smooth. Would highly recommend if you do not have a car otherwise you can find cheaper places to stay but they will be 35-40 mins from downtown. We……

“This is a delightfully unique property with outstandingly friendly, polite and attentive staff. It may be owned by a big chain, but it is as charming and gracious as any bed and breakfast inn. We feel we found the best accommodations in Juneau and right down the street (4-5 miles) from the only glacier park you can drive to. Our room (201) was spacious, clean, cozy and well appointed. I am a particularly fussy traveler but have to say I was so pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this……

“Great property. Very new, tasteful and practical. It was spotless. Very nice little amenities to make you feel welcome. Even ear plugs, which we didn’t need. Keurig coffee maker with nice selection of coffees. Highly recommend. We will be back. The bus stop (Juneau Animal Rescue) is three minutes walk away with regular busses for downtown and the airport (3 and 4 for airport and 3,4 and 8 for downtown). Fred Meyer groceries are walking distance.”

“I think the biggest downfall of this listing is the details. I wish I would have known it was a shared space, I feel like the listing currently doesn’t do a good job at explaining that well. After arriving and being extremely confused I looked at the detailed email I got 3 days before check in and saw those details when I was checking in via the owner’s website. That does a good job at explaining it, but the Expedia booking definitely lacks. The kitchen was extremely dirty in the sink and on the……

“Weather was a big factor in out stay, as it was a residence, but they had a plow truck plow the berm and driveway, so we could get out, and a shovel to make trail out to my car. Also, when my granddaughter came up from Petersburg, it was easy to add her on to our stay. It worked out really well and we had variables as to whether we were going to have to stay one more day, if we couldn’t get on the ferry until Monday night. They also worked with us, so if we needed to extend one more day, they……
