Perfect Kailua Home on 18,000 square feet of land all your own!! Lots of room to spread out!! We have a gorgeous newly tiled Swimming Pool and spa! You are invited to rest and relax in “Ka Hale Lai” , Kailua’s House of Serenity, 5 minutes to the beach, and a short drive to the heart of Kailua town. This is a Legal, licensed vacation rentalNUC#90/BB0034. You will feel like you are visiting old Hawaii in this classic home. Enjoy modern conveniences like AC in every room and new kitchen and bathrooms.
We invite you to experience the beauty of Kailua!!
We are located in a quiet Kailua neighborhood called Kaimalino—a short walk away from Turtle Beach. We are walking distance from a grocery store and restaurants but away from the busier Kailua town. We are close to the H-3 on ramp which can get you to the airport in 25 minutes. Sand bar and fishing charters available for additional fee if available.

The State of Hawaii is welcoming visitors with negative COVID tests and allowing legal vacation rentals starting this week! We are so excited to welcome you back to Ka Hale Lai!!

Fantastic house

What a great place to stay! If you are thinking about staying in the Kailua area, this is a perfect house. Great layout, super clean, nice neighborhood and close to the beach! This was our third time staying in Kailua and this house was easily the best. We'd definitely go back.

Great Family Retreat

The house, location, amenities made this home a home away from home. The backyard is a family oasis for all ages and enough space to have some quiet time if needed. We hope to visit again soon!

The house was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed the pool and spa. Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen sink needed a little attention, backed up some times. Overall enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Perfect for our family, including five adults and three teen girls.

Very convenient location to beautiful beaches, restaurants and shopping. We were in Kailua for two of our teens gymnastic competition. The pool was a bit cool but the girls made great use of it every day. And the hot tub was wonderful after long days. The house was very well stocked.

Large family home in Kailua

Our family of seven enjoyed our weeklong stay at this beautiful home in a residential area of Kailua. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Safeway market was walking distance for supplies. The backyard has a lively pool and spa. There’s a beautiful beach a 20 minute walk from the house and the town of Kailua is a short drive. Beach towels & chairs were provided too. Highly recommend staying at this wonderful home..

Serenity house was perfect for our mixed aged group: beautiful pool, lots of areas to relax both inside and outside, large yard to play in, very comfortable beds. We also loved the location. Without hesitation, we would stay here again!

Lives up to the hype: - Close to nearby beaches (a short drive to the best snorkeling beach on the east side, Lanikai Beach), hikes (look up the Pillbox hike for epic views), and the town with a surprising number of great cafes and spots for a brewsky - Clean, including the pool/hot tub and outdoor area, which get professionally maintained 1-2x per week - AC in every room - Kitchen is well equipped and modern - Private Loved our stay, will be back

A true gem!
