This privately owned unit offers extra amenities you won’t find elsewhere, including a fully equipped kitchen stocked with spices, coffee, teas, cooking oils, and more.

The spacious 2 bedroom / 2 bath apartment is located at the oceanfront Royal Sea Cliff Resort on the famous Ironman run course along Alii Drive, just 2 miles from Kailua-Kona Pier and less than 1 mile from the center of Kailua-Kona Town on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii.

With high ceilings, lots of natural light, and ocean views, this home provides everything you need for a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable stay—your perfect home away from home.

Beautiful Condo with everything you need !!

I have stayed at several units at RSC and this one tops my list! Love having two lanais, one for games with family, and one for me to relax and read. Umbrella is great on lanai off master. So many personal touches , makeup remover pads and Q-tips in bathroom, laundry detergent with bounce shoots, coolers, spices, baby essentials. Beautiful ocean view and communication was a 10. I will boom this unit again for my next vacation. Thank you for a perfect family vacation!!

80th birthday

Great location, easy access to everything: beach, grocery, dining, shopping. The reserve parking spot is near the elevator and not having to look for parking! Doesn't get much better...oh but wait it did. The condo is well kept, clean. All communications with the host were fast and accommodating. It's apparent pride is taken in the care of this condo. Only challenge for us was the very low sofa. Bad knees/backs ended up just using chairs. Yes, we would stay here again.

Fully stocked condo in great location

We had everything we needed for our stay - kitchen had plenty of appliances, seasoning, pans, etc. They also provided beach towels and snorkel equipment. Great location that was close to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Highly recommended.

Good size, location and amenities… but several glaring issues

The location of this VRBO is excellent, it has plenty of space in the unit and there was beach chairs, snorkels, fins, etc to use which was all great… but the unit overall was really lacking. For starters, it was not clean. There was built up dust and grime on several surfaces. You can tell at some point in time someone smoked in this unit as it still has that ‘old smoke’ smell you get at a bowling alley. My wife is extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke, so being 6 months pregnant and sleeping in this environment was not exactly comfortable. The ceiling fan in the master only worked on low. The shower curtain in the master bedroom had black mold on it. The shower head itself was at a very awkward height, basically at chest level so made bathing difficult, bizarrely aggravating. The vent registers were caked in grime and dust. The unit itself is pretty dated. We stayed for 3 nights, and someone was parked in our spot pretty much on a daily basis which forced us to find another place to park. I wouldn’t stay here again, but the location is convenient if you’re going to be in the Kona area.

Lovely stay in Kona

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, spacious and well equipped, and conveniently located for many activities along the Kona coast. Beds were very comfortable. The pools and hot-tub were not crowded and a perfect temperature. The only downside was a loud beeping truck that woke us up every morning around 5:30 AM. Otherwise, it was a 5-star stay.

Phenomenal Experience!

We very much enjoyed the Royal Sea Cliffs and all of the amenities offered by Darden. The condo was very well appointed with every amenity needed for a week on The Big Island (including small day trip coolers, beach umbrella and chairs, boogie boards). Thank you Darden for helping us have an amazing 20-year anniversary trip!

Fantastic home away from home

We had an excellent time at this home. Beautiful location and well maintained. Everything was in the apartment including a perfectly ripe pineapple, bananas and a box of chocolates! I would highly recommend this property.

Privately Owned Unit

This unit is a privately owned unit. It is not Wyndham managed. This isn't necessarily a negative, but it is a bit different experience. On the positive side there are all sorts of spices and cooking ingredients - which was great! On the negative side - the furnishings might not be quite the same style or quality as the Wyndham managed units. The view is amazing! I found the Master Bedroom to be a bit too warm for great sleeping, but in all fairness I am used to a very cool bedroom. Overall, for the price, this is a nice condo.

Quiet, friendly resort

This condo has many nice features and is very quiet! Beautiful artwork and the entry table is such a plus when traveling. The entry mirror is an extraordinary piece!Close to downtown Kona, but feels very far! Well maintained and beautiful grounds, 2 pools and a hot tub! Great place for two couples or family with kids! Easy checking and communication through VrBO!
