“A beautiful restored shophouse. Very welcoming staff and very clean common areas. The rooms can get a bit warm in the afternoon as part of the roof is covered in zinc and conducts heat directly into the room. Bed is located in the attic which can be a slight inconvenience but it adds to the overall charm of the place. Toilets are small and poky but still good enough for me. For the price, I would still recommend this place for those seeking something out of the ordinary. ”

JL is a genial and affable host. I do expect to return and do not hesitate to recommend this venue to customers in the future. ”

“The room was super warm and humid. The windows couldn't shut fully and had incects coming in. The opposite of the property have chickens and dogs that will make noise super early in the morning. There were some lion dance practices till late at night. The room have no poles/hooks to hang stuff. Only have a small row of hooks behind the door. The property wall had tissue paper stuffed in it and multiple defects on the wall. The property has very noisy flooring, I can hear everyone walking...

“Hotel is new.....earth tone bathroom, veey attentive owner. Took public transport....and grab at komtar, to sent someone to their homestay for hospital checkup. 4 steps, followed by 15 steps.....so maybe dont travel with an excessively heavy luggage....close to everywhere.....”
