"We were looking for a quiet getaway to relax and this place provided just that! "

"Just when you think you’ve gone far enough away from civilization, you go a little farther to find this cabin. It was so quiet and away from everything you could hear nature and relax. Very little Wi-Fi reception so we were happy we brought good books. Cozied up to the fire at night, and when we were ready, town was just a peaceful drive. We found a couple of places to eat near by that were amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a good break from electronics and busy life. "

"Nice 2 bedroom with a loft for the kids. New condition. Super clean and quiet. We received a bunch of rain on the first day of our planned camping trip. This was a perfect place to stay for a night on a moment’s notice before heading into the Bald Eagle State Forest. "

"My Family rented 4 cabins in Millers Landing for a family reunion of sorts. Dawn's cabin was by far the best and nicest place we had! It's a bit off the beaten track, but so worth it once you get there!"

"Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used...

"My family spend Thanksgiving at this gorgeous house on a beautiful and very secluded property. Everyone loved the house. It was spotless and the wood stove keeps it very warm. Daren went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Highly recommend!"

" ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently stayed one night at the Carnegie House and was absolutely blown away. I had never heard of it before, but it turned out to be an incredible find. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome — warm, attentive, and professional. The bar and restaurant were top-notch, offering a cozy yet refined atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. What really stood out, though, was the room. The renovation and design were flawless — every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating a space that was both elegant and comfortable. Even though it was just a short stay, it left a lasting impression. I’ll definitely be back — and recommending it to anyone heading to State College!"
