“Room had mould around windows and bathroom shower screen. Shower head not cleaned as very rusted. Toilet was very loose and grime around where it’s had previous silicon around it. Heavy dust on shelves as well as spider webs around windows. Hairs on bed. Not ours and got a hair in my breakfast pancakes. Again not mine as it was pulled back into a bun. Reported to staff. Was assured someone would contact me. They never did. The wedding I was attending was good apart from spelling the newly wedded……

“This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and at £85 for the room, it is frankly unbelievable how poor the overall standard was. From the moment I arrived, the tone was set by an incredibly rigid and unfriendly approach. I asked about check-out time and was told it is strictly 11:00 AM, and even being 5 minutes late would result in a £20 charge.
