“We didn't see a soul. Check in was using a safe box to collect the key. Check out was dropping the key into a safe box. Room was clean and pleasant though and we had everything we needed.”

“We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.”

“The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. The shower is fantastic very big and spacious. The Wi-Fi is on the slow side but apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our time there especially when we……

“Talk about a 'Tardis' house! This place has an uninspiring frontage to it. It looks normal, nothing spectacular. However, on arriving at the front door, the quality starts to become obvious. Once inside, here is the most amazing, awe-inspiring, breath-taking home. The woodwork, the underfloor central heating, the wooden floor, decorative rugs, the kitchen, dining room to die for, living room, all shape up to show the beauty of this property. I'm not an estate agent, and it probably shows, but……
