“We ultimately ended up not staying here. It had nothing to do with the staff. The check in was smooth and easy. Yes, I read reviews before booking but after visiting I can’t agree with some of them. It is a very old motel and the outside is really worn. The room we were assigned was pretty worn too. The mattress was broken down and jiggled just by sitting down on it. It just wasn’t for us. I was willing to pay the much higher price at another tried and true chain hotel. The clerk was super busy……

“Staff was super friendly, quick to check in and it is in such a easy place to park, and walk to food, gyn, and other things. Clean and large rooms and love the outdoors aspect of the place. Breakfast was great, in a big room and lots of options from Waffles, to cereal, eggs, potatoes, Biscuit and gravy, Hard Boiled eggs, coffee, juice.. your normal full breakfast options. Internet is fast for work access. Great place, will stay again when I am in the area!”

“The updated room was beautiful and clean, however the platform beds were pretty uncomfortable and we had to keep adjusting the slates underneath for support. The property location is stunning with amazing views and overall very quiet, just a quick drive into town. Check-in was a little clunky and the continental breakfast was unpredictable. “It was nice to be by the river. We enjoyed watching the ships. We enjoyed the river walk and saw the sea lions “ singing”. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure and hot water. There were several options for breakfast. A very nice place to stay.”

“Location is excellent to beach, restaurants and stores, all easy walks. Great ocean view from 3rd floor with elevator access. Room was clean but with outdated furniture and old yellow bath and sink. Quiet location further down promenade from bigger hotels and traffic. We booked 4 days in advance but room prices were lower for the same room the next couple of days. Overall enjoyed our stay at Seaside and will come again. Hope High Tides finishes their remodel soon.”
