“The ocean views were amazing. The room was very dated and just mediocre. Stay here for the views only.”

“The view of the river from the Otter cottage was amazing. It was steps away and so refreshing to hear the water when we stepped outside! The water pools and the large rocks along the path were perfect for early morning and evening zoomies for our 6 and 8 y/o. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes, accommodating at home meals over our week stay. Some of the finishes were a little older or out of place, but based on the location is what keeps this from being out of our price……

“Great location! Loved our room and the bonus of having a kitchen. Would recommend the rooms be equipped with a toaster oven. Other than that we absolutely loved everything about the Manzanita Oceanfront Inn. Will definitely visit Manzanita and the Inn again.”

“The view was wonderful; however we had lukewarm water in the shower, the fireplace unit didn’t work and another guest kept smoking on the balcony- so every time we went to sit on the balcony, it smelled like cigarettes. Also could hear the other room’s conversations and movements. Definitely not a $300 hotel, pretty disappointed, feel like I wasted my money. ”

“As usual we got a room with a beautiful view, the room itself was well equipped with a full kitchen. However, the fireplace didn't work and although the staff responded right away with new batteries for the fireplace remote that didn't fix the problem. They were sympathetic and took 10% off of the cost of the room, but I'd have much rather have had a working fireplace. The king sized bed was as hard as a rock and for someone that suffers from fibromyalsia it was like laying on concrete. It was……

“The rooms were clean but a little dated however the location made up for this, the only downside was the WIFI was awful only way we could use it was outside of the room in the car park not ideal overall though a great place to stay”

“I stayed here again after two years because the hotel is located right by the sea, the scenery is beautiful and very quiet, and there is a heated swimming pool that the children love. It is as good as always! !”
