“We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It is very spacious, well stocked and in a great location. We watched the otters play from the shoreline. There was a pair of golden eagles nesting in the tree next door. They were on a stump right outside the back door on our last morning. ”

“Another beautiful property with views and easy access to float plane launch, stores (Safeway & Walmart), and "downtown" which on Kodiak Island is very quaint House is about one mile from harbor, where there is a minimal, brewery, Nuniaq (breakfast/lunch), Henry's, Aquamarine restaurant (side-by-side), bank, info center, all near harbor and easy walking distance. “The host was very accomodating and responsive. The house has a nice arctic entry for storing gear. 2 refrigerators, and a chest freezer. Plenty of space to store food. Smart TVs in every room. And comfortable beds. Very much recommend”

“Check-in and out were seamless. The property is as described and very comfortable for our family group. All three beds were very comfortable. Being just steps away from Mill Bay was great! We loved being able to go the the beach there daily. Very quiet location with easy access to everything the Island has to offer. Perfect place to spend a week on my 60th Birthday bucket list trip. ”

“We truly enjoyed our stay at the Catch. Stephen is a terrific host and a really nice guy. Both the views from the house and location are fantastic to see and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Kodiak Island. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that it was difficult for me to figure out how to unlock the door after entering the code. Thankfully i had someone in my group who could and Kodiak is safe enough that we left the door unlocked most of the time we were there ”

“It was a clean home. It was quite roomy. My wife is particularly picky about sheets and beds, and while it wasn’t exactly what we have in our own home, it was better than even nicer hotels and she was very satisfied. The laundry was super convenient. We ate at home most nights and the kitchen was great. It is a quiet area on a quiet street. If you are looking something much more comfortable than a hotel stay, this is a great option. ”

“Very nice places to stay. The beds were very nice. We were all able to get a good nights sleep. The only issue for us was steps. It would have been nice to have a ramp to carry in luggage and groceries. ”
