With two levels and a third floor loft you will have more than enough space to please everyone. The functional Great Room has an open design that leads to the ocean view covered lanai where lively conversations are waiting to happen with family and friends. There is outdoor dining here too and a chance to see humpback whales breaching in winter or dolphins playing at any time of year.
Two large suites with king beds and private baths are on the upper level and include the ocean view Master bedroom. There are two twin beds on third floor loft and a queen size sofa bed in the living room for more guests. When it’s time to eat and dine, the full kitchen works ideally for any chef with its elegant quartz counter tops and premium stainless steel appliances.
There’s more fun waiting for you at Makahuena Resort with complimentary tennis court and an ocean view swimming pool. Load beach gears on a cart and walk along the beach trail to enjoy swimming, snorkeling and surfing at the popular beaches in Poipu. With Poipu, Brennecke's, and Shipwreck beaches each a short stroll away, guests can take advantage of our beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrella, sand toys, boogie boards, and spacious cart.
Enjoy morning walk or jogging on the Poipu Beach Trail towards Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail and admire the breathtaking view over Shipwreck Beach and the beautiful Grand Hyatt Resort. Explore a 3.7 mile scenic trail towards Punahoa Point that offers the chance to see wildlife and the local flora.
Brennecke's Deli and Brennecke's Beach Broiler serve lunch and dinner nearby, and a five-minute drive leads to Poipu Shopping Village and The Shops at Kukuiula, both of which have an assortment of dining and shopping possibilities. Another five-minute drive brings guests to Old Koloa Town, where historic plantation buildings have been carefully renovated to create a charming village with additional restaurants and shops, as well as a grocery store.

We are proud of the original art of the condo. 19 pieces of Kauai’s Landmarks done by a gifted local photo artist, Charles Ellenberger. Charles had served the film industry at Warner Brothers and worked with well-known portrait artists for a high-end clientele. Since moving to Kauai with his wife, Linna, Charles has been producing fine art photos of Kauai’s nature and people for both locals and visitors from around the world. You will discover possibilities of destinations to visit during your stay while admiring the beautiful images displayed in the unit.

We also have our custom roast Kauai coffee in the kitchen to start your day right. Our service includes a host of amenities with free parking, Wi-Fi and washer/dryer in your condo.
