Great hiking nearby, including a short hike to the nearby village across the gorge (Karites) walking next to a waterfall. This location is great for getting away, it’s very remote (45 minute winding mountain drive to get to nearest other village, 90 minute drive to get to Ioannina). ”

“Entering the hotel the care towards heritage and history was clear. The room was large and very comfortable (bed, shower, and space). There was room to have suitcases, and walk without feeling like you were tripping over something. The views from the room, balcony, and dining facility were beautiful. Beakfast was plentiful, varied and tasty. All the staff were smiling and helpful with suggestions and local knowlege. The caring for our stay and comfort was consistent from beginning to end. “Rapport qualité-prix beaucoup trop élevé. Chambre pas propre (cheveux au sol, oreillers tâchés) literie pas confortable, peu de lumière, forte odeur de moisissure. Piscine sale et très chlorée. A 1h15 de route de Kalambaka contrairement à ce que pourrait faire penser l’adresse indiquée. Très déçue pour le prix payé.”
