“We never received instructions on getting into the gate or building. We tried to call the owner and the computer said they were not taking calls. We ended up finding another place to stay. ”

“The grounds are beautiful and the facility was clean and well-kept. Staff members were pleasant. We would actually consider staying there in a different room but the white cabin with the thatched roof was awkward and uncomfortable to the point that we left after one night even though we knew we wouldn't get a refund. You can tell from the photos that some of the description is inaccurate (It's just one bedroom and doesn't have a private pool though there is one pool for all guests to share.) but……

“We staying in the hand-built rustic wood cabin in the middle of blackberries [Mora] in the woods. You need a 4 wheel drive to get down the very steep access road. We left our compact rental car at a house up at the road [for a modest fee] and walked down 2km. The cabin is down a steep forest path. Didn't see evidence of wifi. It's simple and wild. Will not suit everyone, but we greatly enjoyed it. ”

“Cannot say enough good things about hosts. I have to say hosts as Fabiolas mother Esperanza is a rare gem. They made my stay easy. The location was really great. It seemed to be within 10 minutes of everything. Spotlessly clean.”

“My wife & I enjoyed our stay at Rocka Verde Retreat so very much. The home in it self is an attraction. By far the most unique property we have ever stayed at. Who looks at four big boulders & says I think I'll build a house around them. ....& he made it work. Also loved the deck over the river, so peaceful. We were so secluded. Felt like we were the only two people in the world. Thanks a bunch Robert, wish we could of visited in person.”
