Cabina romántica en el hermoso Lake Lure!

romántica cabaña en un lago de montaña. Estamos cerca de la roca de la chimenea, Asheville y el Biltmore House. Estamos a sólo 1/4 milla del lugar donde se filmó la película Dirty Dancing. Estamos a sólo 18 millas de la nueva Tryon Internacional Ecuestre Resort. Nuestra acogedora cabaña de un dormitorio está construido para parejas y tiene una bañera de hidromasaje. Estamos ubicados en la ciudad de Lake Lure y sólo una milla al sur del pueblo de montaña de roca de la chimenea, Carolina del Norte. Sin ningún coste adicional tenemos canoas, herraduras, estanques de pesca privados, y un muelle en el hermoso Lake Lure. Todo ello en un paisaje natural con flora y fauna diversa. Además, a poca distancia se encuentra el Lago de los señuelos de la playa y del puerto deportivo, histórico Lake Lure Inn, restaurantes, Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure barcos de excursión, montar a caballo, escalada, rafting, pistas de tenis, roca de la chimenea Village y pesca con mosca en el río amplio Rocky! También en Lake Lure se encuentran dos campos de golf y un campo de golf de nueve hoyos municipal.

Overall, our stay was pleasant and relaxing. The space itself was cozy and inviting—small, but it felt homey and comfortable. We slept great; the area was wonderfully dark at night with no intrusive streetlights, which made for a peaceful rest. The hot tub was already heated when we arrived, which was a thoughtful touch and saved us the wait. It was also clean and free of bugs, which we appreciated. There were a few areas that could use attention. The listing photos should be updated, as it appears the lake shown is no longer there—likely due to Hurricane Helene. That space is now an active construction area with workers and trucks. While we understand natural disasters are beyond anyone’s control, the lake view was one of the main reasons we booked. Inside, the bedroom window didn’t close completely, making it a bit chilly at night. The space heater provided only worked intermittently before shutting off, and the fireplace was disabled, which was disappointing given the cooler weather. We also noticed a few small housekeeping details: there was very little coffee left with no cream or sugar, and a cluster of dead bugs under the DVD player. Outside, the propane grill lacked a tank, so we weren’t able to use it for dinner as planned. Despite these minor inconveniences, we truly enjoyed our stay. The location is quiet and peaceful, and the overall experience was still positive. I personally loved the cool nights—though my wife might say otherwise after freezing a bit!

I did not know that there was not lake at all, no water in the lake at all. Instead there was machinery for the construction. equipment making so much noise in the mornings 7am of Saturday and Sunday till late afternoon. I do admire all this work they doing for the future benefit of the community and tourism, howevwer, We did not expected that.

Great stay but had a few drawbacks

The cabin was stocked as stated. I was disappointed with the lack of view of the lake compared to the picture. Aware of the extreme heat outside but the cool air just can’t seem to make it to the bedroom. The ac split system was in the den (opposite end of the cabin). The floors were not clean as there was even dog food on the floor beside the couch. The pots and pans and cookie sheet definitely had not be cleaned in awhile. It is very quiet and loved that!!! We will definitely give it another try.

Wonderful break

Beautiful Getaway

The cabin was wonderful, very quiet area. The only thing I didn't like was the road on the property. The whole are is beautiful, with plenty to see and do, even off season. I would definitely go back there!

Nice place to stay. As a cabin, it isn’t a fancy house or hotel, but is a very nice unit. Well furnished, fridge, stove, microwave, heat/a-c, screened deck with hot tub and gas grill. Enjoyed our stay

Beautiful cabin

The owls nest cabin in pine gables was perfect for what we needed. My husband and I went to lake lure to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The cabin was small but cozy and the hot tub on the deck was a lovely feature. It is close to chimney rock and lake lure. We will definitely be back!

Long Lake Lure Weekend

The checkin was easy. It is a very quiet place to relax. Cabin had everything we needed. Only 2 compliants 1. It needed a little more cleaning, bath n bedroom had an odor. 2. No Lake view for all the trees. I love trees but was expecting a view of the lake from the cabin. We had our little dog with us and had no issues. Great little place for her to walk around.

I loved this place.

Great cabin’

My sister and I stayed here to attend the Dirty Dancing Festival nearby. The cabin was perfect! So comfortable, had everything we needed and more. The screened in porch by the water was lovely. I can’t wait to come back with my husband and pups!
