“This incredible piece of historyay not be right for someone that wants access to room service and additional amenities, but if you're looking for a rustic, nature-filled experience, THIS IS IT!!! There are deer, many beautiful birds, butterflies, etc. The cabin is immaculate and has everything you need for a great experience. I marvel that it was built in 1790! If I'm lucky enough, maybe I'll get to stay again sometime. ”

“My wife, my dog and I stayed 3 nights. Minutes away from Nashville Speedway and the Indy car race. Very quiet and secluded. Cabin had all that was advertised. No problem finding the cabin with GPS. All you need to bring is food and clothing and you're good to go. Would be great for parents and a couple of children. Wish we could stay longer and wouldn't hesitate visiting again. Do it ... you won't be disappointed, ”

“We showed up later for check-in due to construction on interstate, we were welcomed by a friendly goat , which of course i had to pet . We went into cabin and it was beautiful. Nice and cool and hot tub was nice and hot . Lots of lighting inside and outside. The outside lights are on a timer so they go on and off at night and early morning. Host was exceptional in messaging me and if i needed anything was quick to respond. I ordered the wife a massage on the property and she said it was...

“It was great! Cozy and cute! To note, the stair are a bit steep but doable, and the mini fridge does not quite have a freezer. Overall, definitely want to come back! It was wonderful!”

“This is a lovely cabin and we absolutely enjoyed our stay for our annual sisters trip. We had long days in Nashville and it was nice to return to tranquility where we relaxed watching movies or playing cards. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the cabin was furnished with everything you could possibly need. We had a little issue with heater and smoke detectors but the property manager was very responsive sending someone to check on us. The only downfall was the highway traffic if...

“Wife and I loved our stay. Well appointed, great views, with all the comforts of home. Highly recommend.Recommend you come in during daylight hours as it is a mountain top home. Roads are winding and its very dark. Also recommend that you have a pickup, suv or car with a higher ground clearance as driveway is not paved and drops off at road. Be sure to load up on groceries coming in as it is a drive from town.Great get away with an amazing view.”

“House was great. Very hot weekend. Nights were cool, hot tub was our main draw ! Layout nice w/ open space livingroom & dining area, for visiting around the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, and the cabin itself was cozy and peacefully tucked away in nature—perfect for escaping city life and reconnecting with the outdoors. Communication with the host was excellent; they were attentive and made sure everything was working perfectly, so we had no issues during our stay.”
