“LeCandles Resort: The location of the resort is quite good; Calicut city is just around 20 kms away, and we can plan to visit many places there, keeping the resort as the central location. The ambience of the resort is quite good with dense greenery all around which makes you feel closer to nature. Staff is good and helpful all around. Food is good and tasty, though very limited in variety; especially for breakfast we had almost the same menu for all the four days we stayed there! Overall it……

“Booked a deluxe twin bed room online. The receptionist could not find our booking and asked to forward the email confirmation received from the online site. He asked for extra fare and latter settled for wahat we had paid online. Had a malfuctioning split AC unit in the room. Could not adjust temperature on that and we had to switch on the fan. Old style furnished room was fairly clean. No water bottles and electric kettle. Bathroom is ok but not upto our expectations. Hospitality is……

“You have to keep asking for regular services like housekeeping!!! While checking in claimed that I didn’t have reservation and they can give me room if I payed. When I insisted that I payed through Expedia for whole period of my stay and am not going to pay again they admitted their mistake. While checking out asked me to pay rent of extra night when reviewed reservation with him they turned out to be wrong again.
