Great weekend trip

We came to visit my dad who lives in LA but decided to stay in Santa Monica to be near the beach. Natalie (the owner) is wonderful and the location can’t be beat. We travelled with our adult son and although it’s a pretty small place, it was a perfect little get away location that had enough room for all of us. We will be back!

Perfect location and quiet stay

The rental was 30 minutes from almost all of our planned excursions, and very close to the Santa Monica Pier and Montana Avenue eateries. Natalie greeted me and my 11 year old child on arrival, settling us in to the very clean and quiet guest house. We used both the king bed and the twin pullout couch bed, and both were comfortable and cozy. I highly recommend making this your LA home base.

Quaint Cottage in Fantastic Location

This is a private room in the owner’s home that is completely separated and private. So if you’re looking for an entire house with a kitchen and living room, this may not be for you. But for us, this place was perfect! The location is one of the best in Santa Monica. The place is immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was terrific and there is a cute little sitting area to enjoy a glass of wine. The outside has a nice pleasant area to sit and enjoy the fresh air. The owner is so accommodating and easy to deal with. And the area was extremely safe and convenient to take walks through beautiful neighborhoods with gorgeous landscaping! It’s also a nice walk to the bluffs overlooking the ocean or even to the beach if you don’t mind a fairly steep walk back. There are so many excellent restaurants within a 10-20 minute walk. We will absolutely be back!

Comfortable and Convenient

The cottage is clean, comfortable, and in a wonderful neighborhood. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the cottage by the sea. Natalie was a great hostess. From check-in to departure, every detail worked very well.

Cozy stay in a beautiful neighborhood inland from the beach.

We enjoyed walking the beautiful neighborhood to great restaurants on Montana street. We drove to the Santa Monica beach area and walked along the Palisades park and down to the beach. We had a delightful two days in Santa Monica. Thanks

Comfy, cozy room.

My daughter and I liked this place a lot. The bed was SO comfortable, its soft and luxurious and I was very well rested. The shower pressure is amazing. Parking was super simple and right out front. I walked over to the Santa Monica Stairs every morning and got some exercise in! We would definitely stay again. Super close to everything we wanted to explore in LA!

Great place in Santa Monica

Natalie was an awesome host with great communication from our initial contact to check out. The unit is comfortable and well equipped. We really enjoyed the private deck and yard area. It is an easy walk through a nice neighborhood to Montana Avenue or the park along Ocean Avenue.

We had a fantastic stay.

The cottage room was very well-appointed and comfortable. It's in a perfect location in a great neighborhood with lots of parking. Natalie was the perfect host. We hope to stay again when visiting family in the area.

Perfect spot in Santa Monica

Just what we needed

My partner and I were visiting relatives for two days and nights, eating meals out, so we were looking for the simplest lodging. Just a safe comfortable bed and shower. This house was that. The hosts were extremely kind. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful home, Incredible location

Natalie's home was such a wonderful find. The home itself is spotless, beautiful and very comfortable. She added all sorts of extra touches that made our stay extra special. Natalie was a very helpful host providing us with local restaurant recommendations and walking routes. Couldn't be happier with our stay. The outdoor garden was an amazing feature!

Great location, gracious host

The property is in a beautiful residential area within walking distance of the beach and shopping area. It’s a very comfortable room with microwave, coffeemaker and fridge. You have your own private deck. Natalie was a caring, gracious host, but we had total privacy. Definitely recommend this place.

A Gem of a Place!

My wife and I stayed here in June 2023 for several days. It's a walled off section of a main house in a residential area. There is a large deck outside the front door and a portion of the front yard that feels private because a lot of landscaping provides privacy. There is plenty of parking, we never had an issue with that. The property has a bedroom, bathroom and sitting area. All are large, clean and comfortable. There is a mini-fridge and microwave, not a full kitchen, but we aren't into cooking when we travel, lol, so it was adequate for our needs. The property is several blocks from Montana Avenue, which has tons of shops and restaurants. We walked there every day for breakfast and dinner and the neighborhood in between is delightful. Many unique houses and amazing landscaping. We always felt safe, even when we walked back and forth after dark. We also walked down to the beach and the Santa Monica Pier, which is a bit of a hike but was well worth it. We then walked to the downtown area and this was very pleasant as well. There is plenty of public parking by the beach or downtown if you don't want to walk it. We Ubered a couple of times as well, which was cheap and easy. Santa Monica is also very convenient to lots of attractions. We did a cool drive on Mulholland Drive to the Griffith Observatory while there. Natalie was a gracious host who reached out to us before we arrived and gave great info on places to go/see. Would definitely stay here again.

SUCH a beautiful neighborhood!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Natalie's private guesthouse! It's exactly as featured with all sorts of amenities. Plus, no worries about parking - there's plenty of street parking! It's also a great walking neighborhood for nearby dining, shops, grocery stores and even the Santa Monica Pier. Another advantage is that it is close by The Getty Villa and Museum and state park (if you enjoy hiking). As for Natalie, the owner, she's so very kind and has so many great suggestions for your stay. We need to come back and visit again!
