“This property has so much potential and I really hope the owners are able to make it everything it could be. Unfortunately at the moment there's a lot of room for improvement and the price didn't reflect that. The cleanliness level was not brilliant and the space was extremely cold. You are provided with a small gas heater, however it simply isn't capable of heating the space on a cold night. The bedding is summer weight, and there is no insulation, so the cold really bites. “This was my second time to Penrhos and this is rapidly becoming one of my favourite places to stay. The level of finish in the accommodation is exceptional and the attention to detail such as board games, items in the kitchen and basic supplies such as milk and butter are lovely touches. There is loads of space in Lodge 7 and it is my favourite lodge out of the 2 I’ve stayed in so far. Friday night we went for a meal in the cattle shed. “Absolutely faultless. We went as a group of friends to spend a long weekend away and we couldn't have stayed in a more perfect and serene lodge. We were fully equipped with everything we needed. Charlie, the host, paid us a visit to introduce herself on the Saturday and was really friendly. The hot tub was the absolute highlight. Overall, the perfect stay for a group of friends looking for a getaway. Thoroughly enjoyed and would 100% consider coming back”

“Huggins Cottage is one of the loveliest places we've stayed, and by far the best cared for. We were made to feel welcome every step of the way, from booking to leaving. Very thoughtfully equipped kitchen, and house generally, with very comfortable beds. Bookshelves included a wealth of information about the area. “The house is located in a quiet and secluded area and is impressive as you approach from the drive. The games room is helpful and reasonably well appointed although showing signs of being "well used" Whilst providing reasonable value for money, typically the kitchen could do with updating and providing a more comprehensive range of cooking utensils. Providing one (average quality) bath towel and one hand towel (plus bed linen) at (an additional) £10 each person seems somewhat odd given how many……
