“This was my favorite place to stay on our recent Ireland trip. The location in the middle of the Connemara was exactly what I was looking for. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed for a group of 6. We referenced the house guide many times for advice on the local area. It's the perfect home base for exploring the area. “Absolutely stunning. We had a fantastic time at the Sky Road home, we had everything we needed, Paul was so nice and helpful. Views were stunning each day. We loved walking to the Coffee Corral every day, as well as walking to the castle. ”

“Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

I live the kitchen and the living room with amazing views towards the sea and the saumon fishers.I have love the time sitting at home, relaxing and enjoying the peace and the warmth atmosphere. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo.”
