Rainbow Falls can only be seen by hiking the 2 additional miles from Devils Postpile (0.4 mi) from the trailhead. The only way to reach the trailhead is by taking a shuttle inside Devils Postpile National Monument in Mammoth, California. The hike is easy but fairly open so it can get pretty hot in the summer, but the view of Rainbow Falls is absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend making the trip if you’re in Mammoth. This was taken in July 2017 during midday

"Beautiful get away in nature! We absolutely lived the cabin and the grounds. There is a catch snd release fishing pond on the property! We kayaked, used the paddle boat and fished so much of the day. We cooked at the cabin. The kids loved the bunk beds snd the adults had their own private bedrooms. We truly needed this family get away and could not have asked for a more perfect place. We did not want to leave. The owner was so gracious too. We will be back!"
