“Friendly people ”

“Very nice place. Rooms are clean as are the pools and hot tubs. Staff is all very kind and accommodating. Can’t beat the location! Short walk to marginal way or Ogunquit beach! ”

“The staff was very friendly, the locale was a 20-minute walk from the action (not the port per se, but the art museum and some restaurants). More than anything, we appreciated their pet policy — dogs stay free! And luckily we didn’t feel like we were shoved into a “pet room” that smelled. Our room was fine, maybe a little tired with the old brown rug and springy mattress, but fine. Love that they had free breakfast as well as cookies/coffee in the afternoon. (Dining area was a little tight……

“Check in was very easy and the concierge went out of her way to satisfy our accommodation request. When we checked out, we had forgotten items in the refrigerator. She worked with Housekeeping to get the items to us. She went out of her way to provide extra service. The room was lovely and we would definitely stay here again.”

“The thermostat in our cabin was broke but we just thought it wasn't working well. What we notified the front desk, they sent someone quickly. We were offered another room, but declined since we were settled and loved our cabin, so they provided a space heater. Our stay was much more enjoyable after that.”

“It was a pleasure meeting the owner upon check in, he was most accommodating, clean rooms with refrigerators, heat, air conditioning and a direct shot across the street to miles of one of maines treasures. Old Orchard Beach ”

“I booked two rooms. The rooms were clean. One room stains on carpet. One room very noisy neighbors one night I was there but the place was quiet. Breakfast is breads yogurt and cereal. Coffee. Young man at desk very nice. Location perfect for shopping and getting to York. Good price.”

“About 8 minute walk to beach. Satisfactory breakfast with a few items. Bathroom was clean and room had AC. The negative was that you could hear train blowing its horn through the night! Otherwise it was ok!”

“Place has changed since we were there many years ago Some for the better some not so much The buildings and staff were excellent The food at various restaurants on the grounds was so so.The prices were crazy $6 for a cup of coffee before tax and it only got worse $100.00 for 2 breakfast ”

“Clean - great Location!”

“This is more like a motel that is clean, good condition and used mostly by tourists to Acadia. It has a nice small pool (area) which is nice to relax. They don’t have breakfast but offer morning drinks, cereals and muffins. It is a bit far from Bar Harbor with no transportation to town. (Bus to town would be nice since there is no free parking in Bar harbor. It is a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. ”
