It was our second time to stay here. The place itself is amazing. Fabulous pool, great location, and nice room. The only bad part is that I think the management company needs to train their staff better. They seem to be in the dark about a lot of things. This last time we had our flight changed on us at the last minute, and we got there about 3 hours before our room was ready. We were all very tired from packing hurriedly the night before and then having to leave on such an early flight. They had no place to store baggage, so we had to sit in their lobby with our luggage until our room was ready. I almost fell asleep several times, as did my wife. My daughter did fall asleep, without my noticing. The saw the guard (Belmonte) walk over to her and slap her on the leg a couple of times, waking her up, and then told her she couldn't sleep in the lobby. I chased him down and told him how he rude he was. He said it was against the rules. I told him I was OK with the rules, but that wasn't the issue with me. It was the way he enforced them. He could have asked if she was with anyone, and then explained to us. We could have woken her gently. Or he could have been more gently waking her. I was very upset with him, but I don't think he ever understood my point of view on what happened. I did not report him, but I should have.
