Disappointing Stay, VRBO and Vacasa Unresponsive
(I asked Google Gemini to write this review... pasting only our multiple questions and requests for help though VRBO's messaging platform. This seems fairly accurate, although it removes the frustration felt by poor responsiveness)
Overall Impression: This vacation house stay with Vacasa unfortunately fell short of expectations. While the location might have been desirable (depending on your preference), numerous issues significantly impacted the enjoyment of the stay.
Specific Issues:
Missing Propane: The grill was unusable due to an empty propane tank. It took several days and multiple contacts with Vacasa to get a replacement delivered.
Unusable Appliances: The oven was dirty and filled the condo with smoke when used. Additionally, a previous review mentioned the same issue, suggesting a lack of proper maintenance.
Electrical Issues: There was a problem with the electrical system, rendering some appliances unusable.
Lighting Problems: Two bedrooms lacked functional lighting.
Communication with Vacasa: Communication with Vacasa was slow and required persistence. It took several emails and days to get some issues addressed.
Positive Aspects: Good location
