“The staff were sweet and the restaurant was great. However there is a general lack of maintenance . Wasn’t just us, on speaking to other guests they all had issues with their rooms. We had three rooms 1) First room had a leak in the roof- occasionally. Probably when upstairs was showering 2) Second room -Electricity kept tripping and needed to be continually requested to switch back on 3) third room had an underground leak which FLOODED the entire room. Twice! Eventually after 2 nights of……

“Very convenient location in the city centre. Friendly staff. Comfortable room with large bed, good air conditioning, powerful shower. Amazing breakfast in the morning. The only downside was the roof top pool being unavailable.”

“This was a beautiful location. Hard to get to... 3 hours drive from Maputo and you basically have to hire a driver. The staff was warm and lovely and always wanting to help make the vacation ideal. I was 1 of 6 guests for a couple of nights - and it was incredibly peaceful. be prepared for a serious dose of relaxing as it's 45 min to other more happening beach areas. I did not try the water activities as it was out of season/quite cold in June. I'd say the only disappointment was the "all……

“Found used condoms in my room upon checking in. When I told the receptionist, she asked me "why I was making her life harder" and that "mistakes happen". They did offer to move me into smaller rooms but eventually just took out the trash with the used condoms inside and said that's all they could do. They also did not honor the free airport transfer. Genuinely a terrible experience, I cannot in good conscious recommend anyone stay here.”
