The lane to the property is unmetaled & a farm track but it's not very far from the road so did not pose an issue for us. Property itself is lovely, well maintained & everything you could need for a holiday away. All very clean & tidy. I would highly recommend."

We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."

"I have stayed here several times as it is situated in a great position with ample parking. I had never stayed in a ground floor room previously but the room smelled of damp and this was worrying and unpleasant. My stay was only 1 day so I put up with this, if I had stayed longer, I would have reported this to the staff."

"It’s a lovely hotel. A little bit dated now, in places, but overall really nice in a nice setting and location. The staff were friendly although there were a few occasions things were asked for and not delivered on. I put this down to them being young and maybe not fully engaged with their roles. Could maybe do with some senior leadership to raise standards to where they could easily be. I would recommend and I would stay again. Just manage your expectations. Don’t expect the best. But overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I paid for breakfast both mornings. The food quality was great but often things were missing and not replenished. A little disappointing at £16 pp price point."

Especially the two men in the restaurant. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. We opted for a double deluxe with balcony sea view. When we arrived we were upgraded to a suite. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

Our experience certainly didn’t reflect many of the ratings and reviews we had read. The location is amazing, our room was clean and exactly as advertised, and it had a modern TV. The hotel was quite hot for some reason, but fans were provided, which helped. The staff were lovely especially the chambermaids, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here. We’ve paid twice the price elsewhere and not had as good an experience."
