“Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. There is also an open area just steps from the front door to walk dogs, too. The kitchen was very well stocked! The host was responsive...

“We have stayed at several properties on the hood canal and all agree that this is the one we will return to. The home is vibrantly decorated, accentuating the endless views through the doors and windows, well appointed with everything we needed, and spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults and a small dog. “The pictures do not do this place justice it is more beautiful in person. The host was great! Had a really fun time here, I would definitely recommend staying here if you are on the fence about it. It’s not to far from anything you’d wanna see here at the national park as well. ”

“We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Like some other guests mentioned, having Wi-Fi or a few board games available would be a nice touch for the quiet moments. A new set of skillets in the kitchen would also be a much-appreciated upgrade. Overall, a great stay with just a few small suggestions to make it even better.”

“It was awesome. Secluded yet not too far from town and my son who lives in Shelton. It was great to take a walk to the shore which was an adventure walk with blackberries and sweetpeas. “This property is absolutely amazing. The view of Lake Cushman, the quiet, the lake access. All of it is top tier. When we travel, we pick the place based on the view and access to the water, not too much on the amenities (except when we travel to warmer climates we always make sure there is AC). That being said, this property has literally anything you need. We took advantage of the toaster oven, gas oven & range, the blackstone grill, washer/dryer, literally all of it. “It was as seen in the picture given and the view was so wonderful . It was off season so no one else was around if you came in summer not sure I would like to rent at that time . The driveway was hard as we have a small low car but we walked down which was fine. No wifi but that was all good for us as we watch a couple of movie . In all great place and house was really comfortable. ”

“Extremely clean and well-appointed home with spectacular views. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The Olympic mountains were unfortunately shrouded in smoke, then clouds, but we thoroughly enjoyed watching the abundant marine life. We saw numerous seals, heron, geese, and more. And so many oysters! The outdoor deck seating and fire pit overlooking the water provided a much-needed relaxing and serene weekend. ”
