“Beautiful quiet area, enjoyed the hot tubafter a day of exploring the area. Thw weather had s ow but roads were cleared pretty quick. The house was very homey feeling you walk in and felt like home!!”

“We loved Black Bear Cabin and would definitely stay again! The place was absolutely spotless and had everything we could need, plus some extra touches like K-cups and creamer for our morning coffee. There are games and books, and the game room has tons of fun things to do. Miranda was very responsive and even had the AC going for us when we arrived on a 90-degree day! We will stay again.”

“This is a quiet cabin in the country which was the perfect base to visit Shawnee National Forest from. It had A/C, WIFI, and QUIET which are all the things I was looking for. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and our hosts were great to bring over a new coffee maker when the one in the cabin stopped working. It was a nice and relaxing trip with easy access to dining and scenery. Really enjoyable.”

“Lovely stay. The location is amazing, not only on a lake, but right across the road from the golf course. Fantastic layout in the home, spacious and plenty of bedrooms and separate and together spaces. The best neighbors here, they are a delight. Early morning sunrise and watching all the wild life in the lake is so peaceful.The Garden of the Gods is a must see.The hostess/host are wonderful. ”
