“I recommend this place! The room was clean and the staff was friendly! The breakfast was pretty good too. It had waffles boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, and of course coffee! It has a nice pool. It’s pretty good place to stay on a budget. We literally dropped our stuff off and came back at night and slept. The second night my key didn’t work so I had to put all my stuff down and get a new key. It was super annoying. The carpet was stained, the ac was stinky and some of the pillows……

“This hotel has a very nice view and is a great choice for shooting or watching the stars. Their service staff is very friendly and will assist you very well with things to do at the top of the mountain to fix inconveniences. The rooms are slightly smaller than similarly priced hotels, but I think the starry sky at night definitely makes up for it, and the balcony on the side of the house offers a great starry sky experience. There are two restaurants here, the one on the second floor requires……

“We stayed in the handicapped room. Would have been nice if the A/C didn't sound like a jackhammer. only saving grace was that at 8000 feet we were able to turn it off and leave the windows open. we left at 4am.”

“I wait for 15 minutes for check in. Because there was no body there at front desk at 10:30 PM.”

“The bed and pillows were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was average hotel breakfast food. The staff managing the desk upon check in was less than helpful and although we reserved two rooms I had to argue for the second room. One of the rooms given to us had not been cleaned (beds were not made, there were no towels in the bathroom, and there was still trash in the room).”

“This was a lovely hotel with a very fun Family Suite. Our children loved the "Fort Holiday" set up that included bunkbeds, a tv, and a PS3. The food was great and the beds were comfortable.”

“The newer owners have been working on the property. The owner/ manager went out of her way to accommodate us, offering our choice between two rooms to better suit our needs. The rooms were clean and comfortable. If your looking for fancy, this may not be the place, but for a comfy, quiet stay, come on in.”

“Long time traveler here, this is the BEST place to stay if you are in Mancos area or visiting Mesa verde NP. The home is so clean and the hosts are the nicest people you will ever meet. Also, their breakfast is absolutely delicious and the conversations around the breakfast table were just as lovely! I would give them 15 out of 10 if I could. Highly recommended!”
