"Lovely place. Clean and simple bed sets with fluffy pillow and blankets, and soft beds. Modern kitchen appliance. Nice sitting area by the window. And a clean and spacious bathroom. It is summer time here. We got too hot in the room and there was no fan or air conditioning. We ended up opening up the windows early in the morning. But it was still a wonderful place to stay at. Easy check in system that we didn’t need to talk to anybody. I could use my phone to unlock or it gave us a code to type in on the digital lock. People staying there were respectful. It was quiet through the night. "

"Was nicer than the no frills hotel I expected. Room was super clean and very nice decor (except the flowered shower curtain) and I’m being picky. Small area for breakfast with plenty of grab and go options. It’s not a hot full breakfast. Great restaurant across the street. "

"Front desk staff was amazing! Super friendly and helpful young staff, notably “Micha” coordinated a mess I dealt her with changes in 3rd party reservations. Hotel was super clean and updated with super comfy beds."

"Absolutely incredible experience! This family owned lodge hits every right note. From the very nice, well appointed cabins, to the friendly staff, Summit Lodge was awesome. Best of all is the amazing central location to all of the sites of the Kanai Peninsula. Beautifully situated on a stunning lake with gorgeous mountains in the background. We didn’t want to leave our cabin as it was just too nice to leave. To top it off, our stay included a wonderful made to order breakfast each morning. We’ve stayed in a lot of great places all over the world and Summit Lake Lodge ranks at the top. We can’t wait to return!"

"The wooden lodge itself is unique. I was extremely skeptical about the bathroom and shower not inside the lodge but there were 4 shower and bathroom for 5 lodges. I was kind of use one for ourselves."

"Loved the bathtub! A real one from back in the day before shrinkflation took over and started shrinking everything. Best price on the peninsula in the tourist season. Being a local forced to go to Anchorage for whatever reason, it was nice to be just outside the overpriced zone. Thank you, Veronica!"
