"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. "Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

The cottage was ideal for our particular needs - a rather last minute booking - and very clean and well equipped throughout. "A toilet flush issue on arrival at my room which I mentioned to reception on my way for dinner in the bar. A guy came and found me to say they were unable to fix it that evening and so would like to move me. He offered to move all of my bags while I finished dinner. I was so grateful after a very long drive that day. He was great at breakfast one morning too, really efficient and a credit to the team. All of the staff were lovely but I’d also call out a young lady at breakfast Wed, Thur, Mon - she was super polite and remembered my drink order. Little touches go a long way. The rooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of parking. Great location for the purpose of my visit "

"Wow! Talk about a view! From the moment we walked into Helen's rental we felt very at home and comfortable. The first thing you notice is the amazing view out of the lounge window, which goes straight onto a balcony with perfect unobstructed sea views! The lounge was a good size with relaxing sofas, the kitchen had everything for a great self catering break away! The bedrooms downstairs were a good size and comfortable beds. The master bedroom had a lovely little patio with table and chairs. The house was easy to find and it was a very simple check-in. We walked up the hill into Mortehoe, about 15 mins and sampled the pubs for dinner and drinks, they were very nice. We also did the easy walk into Woolacombe, it was much busier but also good food and drinking places, about 15 mins walk. The beaches were so easy to walk to and looked so nice. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks again Helen and for the lovely welcome gifts. "
