“I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. I would have like the solitude of the cottage, but I am not upset as I had a lovely time. You should most definitely get dinner. The food was exceptional. “We were three older adults looking for a quiet place to stay while visiting the mid west. It is a very central location with connections to the motorway going both east and west. We felt welcomed, secure, and a quiet place to just relax in the evenings. The cottage has a lot of old age charm, artistic touches and a very warm welcome by our hostess. Very cllean, no mod cons, but who needs those? It’s a holiday venue for relaxation.”

“We loved our stay at this cute blue cottage. The hosts were lovely people and we felt very safe here. Everything was so perfect from the coffee to the little outdoor sitting area in the garden. We loved it so much. We also enjoyed the home feeling with the cute dogs to play with in the yard when they were around. Just perfect!”
