Happy with our one night stay. Breakfast was adequate for a free option. Could use additional options. Room was clean but showing some wear and tear. Beds were very comfortable, better than many hotels. Did not have a chance this trip to use pool/spa but will revisit and use them.

Nice people. Hotel is well located. They had everything we needed for a one night stay. Pet friendly. Breakfast was good. Had no problems, but I feel like the staff would have worked to fix any problems had they arose. Not the “best” hotel but a good value.

We did not use Hot Tub. There were 3 doggie beds, ( we call them climbs) in the basement, that was a great addition for our dog as she loves to hang out on them. Very pet friendly, very clean. River’s Bend was one of our favorite western VA cabin stays to date. Its location is unique - remote enough for dark skies and the sounds of wildlife, with the thrill of the train when it makes its way through the tunnel under the property.
