“Lovely clean cosy cottage in great surroundings, Cottage owners were so welcoming and Jane was very knowledgeable of the all the places to go locally. Great watching the chickens and the sheep by the cottage and our dog had a great time.Dog friendly with great forest walk on door step and cottage had a lovely enclosed garden.”

“Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size.”

“We all were in agreement that the cottage was just delightful! Absolutely spotless (not even a glimmer of a cobweb in sight which is a real bonus in such an old building!), huge bedrooms, gorgeous bathrooms, communal areas were great. Kitchen in particular had such great amenities. Beautiful garden, quiet area. I could go on. We loved our stay and will 100% be back!”

“When I arrived, I felt welcome at Coombe Cottage. The hosts’ attention to details was excellent- from the welcome basket to the amenities of the cottage. The garden was lovely to relax in after a day of sightseeing. The path to town expertly described by the host directed me on a lovely walk and to a charming town.
